Dear Editor,
This semester has been a great time where we got to have our own website and write about not only our thoughts but everything that happens in school and other public events. Sadly, it can't go on forever.
Bear Life, you have made many articles that are very interesting with very well thought out ideas. Sports Team, you had great articles that had to do with sports happening at school, and events that happen outside of school. Photographers, you are all very productive with your work and draw beautiful pictures that have to do with things that are happening at the moment. News Team, although we didn't really work with you, you did amazing videos for every week, that included things that were happening during the week.
"It's been fun going out in the field and taking pictures. You get the real experience of being a photo journalist. I like that my group worked together to complete tasks. I took pictures and sent them to Britney." (Analeise Toral, 7th grader, 2014, Photographer) "There were ups and downs but it was very exciting. I like that everyone is doing something and not anything else. I gave out ideas of what to write and sometimes I write articles." (Nayeli Paez, 7th grader, 2014, Bear Life)
"It was fun, exciting, and memorable to work with friends. I like how we agree on things and how we love doing what we do. I would usually type articles and interview students." (Daliah Melgar, 7th grader, 2014, Sports Group) "It's been fun because we get to go out on the field and express ourselves in videos. We cooperate with each other and make the videos fun. I gave out ideas and came out in videos." (Alexander Marquez, 7th grader, 2014, News Team)
"It was pretty fun to be here, we got to express who we are, I got to work on the website. We were very independent, we acted silly, most of the time we finished before the deadline. I edit Bear Life articles with Elena Marin, and make the website nice." (Kimberly Mejia, 7th grader, 2014, Editor). We are thankful for having great teammates who work well and turn in the articles, photos, and videos by the deadline.
Sincerely,
Journalism Team
